Default My 55hp Ritualist Build

Since the other thread has died painfully, im starting a new one:

Ritualist/Monk:

Attributes:

16 Restoration (3+1)
8 Healing
10 Protection
3 Channeling (3+3)
3 Spawning (+3)
3 Commuting (+3)

Skills:
Vengeful Was Khanhei{e}
Weapon Of Shadow
Blind Was Mingson
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Balthazars Spirit
Mending
Essence Bond

Weapons:
FFS With A 20% Enchant Mod
-50 Hp Cesta

How To use:

Start of with the usual casting of the 3 enchantments

When engaging a group, start by casting Vengeful, this will cancel out your -50 cesta and leave you with 105 hp, this is ok, because we will be stealing 37 hp every hit (net gain of 27)- This skill is your damage dealer

When vengeful begins to run out, if facing a small group, you can cast breeze and wait for it to recharge to start again.

Cycle:

Vengeful
Healing Breeze
{Back to step one}
(Always keep prot spirit up)

If facing a large group (9+ smites for example) and breeze cannot keep up, then you use weapon of shadow just as Vengeful runs out. this will reduce the damage you take significantly, allowing you to tank more then a 55hp with bonneties. however after your next cycle shadow weapon will still be recharging, so use Blind Was Mingson just as Vengful runs out.

Cycle:

Vengeful
Shadow
Vengeful
Blind Was Mingson
{Back to step one}
(Always keep prot spirit up)

Pretty simple build to run, and more effective than Invinci-monk at tanking

Oh And To Those Who Will Moan, I dont care if 55hp ruined your life, raped your dog, or killed your sister, this is not the thread for rants, there are plenty of 55Hp Debate threads around

I see that you have Balthazars Aura in your line up, but what do you have into smiting? Just curious since it would be pointless to carry that skill if you have nothing in smiting.

It still gives you energy, per hit. Just not adrenaline, which would be useless to him anyway.

He is using the Balthazar enchantment which gives +1 mana gain for each time you are hit.

Correct, you gain 2 energy per hit taken (One For Essence, one from Balts)

You've confused Balthazar's Aura with Balthazar's Spirit.

Am I wrong or does Vengeful weapon steal lifes only next time you would be hitted and then it ends? If it's correct, I'd stay it's not that effective.

Sweet another build I could get my monk to use for fun, always gotta switch it up... and as for UW proof, kinda far from it... you have savage slash and distracting blow to deal with(I havnt looked up each skill you posted but I know most of those item skills take 2 secons to cast)

a riposte build I threw together had only 1 spell to recast (1/2sec cast) for UW but sadly found myself 10min vs the 1st smite group...otherwise aatxes and grapsings were a breeze...

Awh I had a great idea of using AotL instead but I bet theres an elite skill in there...

I'd like to see a N/Rt or Rt/N with Enfeebling Blood (if your gaining hp anyway they could be doing like 6~20dmg and youre at full health!)

that elite of you'res.. lasts 10 seconds at lv 12(29hp steal), lv16 its 11 seconds(37hp steal)...
lets see sword/axe/dagger types attack at the speed of 1.333swings a second
10/1.333=7.5 so about 7~8 times of 29 * 7~8 = 203~232
11/1.333=8.2 rounded down to 8, 37 * 8 = 296
which leaves about 277~248(lv12) 184(lv16) health left from a lv 20 foe... add 20health per level above that...

it would be even lower health steal if it was a hammer type.

just giving you some fuzzy math, so if you dont own factions, or dont know what lasts how long, I did the work for ya.

Hi,

This build works very well indeed, my only problem is against Dying Nightmares. How do you kill them?

Sadly, im only at the temple. Gotta do a couple of more missions before I get to give this a go.

EDIT: Finally got the skills needed. Jw, what can a 55Rt solo? Ive tried pongmei valley, jade brotherhood so far, and im attempting Sskai. So far there a bit of a challenge, but ill get used to it.
